Making coffee using a coffee plunger is a straightforward process with just a few easy steps. First, preheat the coffee plunger by adding hot water and swirling it around. Then, discard the water and dry the plunger completely.

While preheating isn’t mandatory, it helps keep your coffee hot for longer.

Next, measure out the ground coffee, typically 2 tablespoons per cup of water, and place it in the plunger. Add enough boiling water to cover the coffee grounds and give it a quick stir. Put the lid on and let it sit for about 30 seconds.

After that, remove the lid and pour in the remaining water. Stir gently, reattach the lid, and ensure the plunger is pulled up to prevent steam from escaping. Allow the coffee to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on the grind size. Finally, slowly press the plunger down to separate the grounds from the brewed coffee.
